All year round, booking with us directly gets our best rate. Hotel Villa Everest is an 11-room heritage house, built as a residence for the Maharaja of Cooch Behar and run today by our family.

Two ways to spend a Darjeeling winter.
Winter brings Darjeeling its clearest skies of the year, and Kanchenjunga stands sharp in the morning light. Every room has a heated mattress pad and a room heater, and the house has 24-hour power backup. We price each winter stay by hand for your dates, so there is no rate grid here: send us your dates and we reply within a few hours, between 8 am and 9 pm.

Outside the winter offers, the best way to stay with us is simply to book on this website. You get our best public rate, guaranteed: if you find the same room for the same dates for less on another public site, send us a screenshot on WhatsApp and we will match it. Our standard rates are room only, and breakfast is served at Everest Cafe from 8:00 to 10:30 am.
However you book, every guest is welcomed with a cup of Darjeeling tea on the Everest Cafe deck, and on cold nights the heater is on and the bed warmed before you walk in.

What hotel offers does Villa Everest have in Darjeeling this winter?
Two, from 1 January to 15 March 2027. The Winter Honeymoon Package is a two- or three-night stay for couples with breakfast included. Winter Long Stays are seven or fourteen nights with breakfast and dinner every day.
Why don’t the winter offers show a price?
We price each winter stay by hand for your dates and your party, so you get our best rate rather than a figure from a grid. Send us your dates on the offer page and the family replies within a few hours, between 8 am and 9 pm.
Is breakfast included in your standard rate?
No. Our standard rates are room only. Breakfast is served at Everest Cafe from 8:00 to 10:30 am, and the winter offers include breakfast, or breakfast and dinner.
Can we choose a Kanchenjunga-facing room?
Six of our 11 rooms face Kanchenjunga in full, and the rest look across the Darjeeling hills. Rooms are allotted on the day, so we can’t promise a particular room in advance.
